Privacy Principles and Notice

At Benefit Plans Administrative Services, Inc. (hereinafter collectively referred to as "BPAS"), the basis of each client relationship is trust.  Our clients have chosen to do business with us, and we are obligated to honor those relationships with great care, beginning with the information our clients have chosen to share with us.  We recognize that you, as our client, have a right to expect your personal financial information to remain private and secure.  We will maintain standards to ensure that your information is private and secure at all times.  At the same time, we want to offer an array of financial products and services that will enable our clients to accomplish their financial goals. We believe we can do both through the privacy policy outlined below.

Collection and Use of Personal Information.  We collect, retain and use information concerning our clients only when we reasonably believe that it will help us administer our business or to provide products, services, or other opportunities to them.  Information that we collect in the normal course of business includes information from client profiles, applications, or other forms.  We train our employees to properly handle your personal information and restrict access to it.  We use information to:

Maintenance of Accurate Information.  We are committed to ensuring that our clients’ financial information is accurate, current and complete, in keeping with reasonable commercial standards. Should a client ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information, we will investigate those concerns immediately and correct any inaccuracies.

Third Party Disclosure Restrictions.  BPAS is committed to the security of our clients’ financial and personal information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to client information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

We do not reveal specific information about our client accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside of our affiliated companies for their independent use unless:

Internet Transactions and Website Privacy.  BPAS understands how important it is to protect our on-line clients and website visitors. We do not collect personally identifiable information about individuals except when it is specifically provided on a voluntary basis. We do not share the product, service or assistance you have requested.

Links to Other Sites.  BPAS may provide links to other websites as a convenience to you. BPAS makes no warranties concerning the privacy principles of these sites, and the client is strongly encouraged to view the privacy statement with each entity before proceeding. In providing links to non-affiliated sites, we do not imply any endorsement of, or responsibility for the products, information, or services offered at such sites.

Former Customers.  We do not sell any customer information to anyone, nor do we disclose information about our former customers to non-affiliated third parties, except to process transactions or provide services that you have requested or initiated.

BPAS recognizes and respects the privacy expectation of our clients. We want our clients to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of client information. As a result of our commitment, we have developed this Privacy Principles and Notice and make it readily available to our clients.
